Topping the bill are FooR, Southampton’s latest success story. 2015 has been a big year for the group who have featured on Radio 1Xtra, going back to back with DJ Target, released a knockout remix of Skepta’s ‘That’s Not Me‘, and have recently released their debut EP. It’s no surprise then that FooR are currently riding the wave of their efforts, enjoying enviable crowds of fans turning out in their droves for their sets at all the local festivals like Southampton Soundclash and Common People.
On being chosen to headline the event, FooR had this to say:
We have been going to High Tide events for years and never thought we would ever get the chance to play one, so we are very excited, plus it’s Gavin’s birthday so it’s party time #FooRontheFooRth
Joining them for the second in High Tide’s series of garden parties this summer is Tom Budden. Tom has enjoyed worldwide acclaim touring extensively during his career. Tom but has always kept close ties with the Southampton scene, DJing many High Tide’s boat parties over the years. Tom also manages his own record company ALiVE. Since 2008, ALiVE has pooled together the talents of numerous producers to release a solid stable of deep and tech house.
South Royston’s John Neenan and Cameron are a pair of producers who have wasted no time in making an impact. Within a short time-frame the duo have releasing on Four40 and Ministry of Sound’s HK Records, as well as taking up remix duties for Kry Wolf’s on his recent track ‘Orbit’.
Having been entrusted with closing the Space Ibiza tent at Southampton Soundclash, you need little more evidence to tell you that ThemAgen know precisely how to deliver on the decks. Equally George Walker offers sophisticated selection, backed by a history of reputable bookings.
The garden party runs from 2pm untill 10pm. Room 2 features AC, Dan Hayes, Reiss Stanford, and Joseph. Those seeking to need only embark on a short walk down to Bedford Place for the afterparty at Junk.
