junk-bang-bang-launch-2015-posterSouthampton nightclub Junk, 55 London Road, will be reviving their long-standing clubnight Bang Bang later this month, with a launch night scheduled for the 19th June. Aside from a brief appearance for Halloween 2014 with Hannah Wants, the Bang Bang brand has been dormant since the latter part 2013 when the likes of Skream, Zed Bias, Andy C, and Kode9 all graced the island DJ booth at Junk.

As with the previous incarnations of Bang Bang, the focus will be on underground dance music ranging from house and garage, to grime, hip-hop, trap, and more. Expect Southampton’s finest resident DJs playing alongside regular exciting guest bookings.

Junk’s Saturday night brand Spill The Milk will continue to operate as normal, bringing in a diverse selection of world-renowned DJs.

We’re so excited to be bringing Bang Bang back! Over the years, Bang Bang has been a leader in helping to break new waves of music and artists in the city, and 2015 will see us continuing that tradition with some of the best names in underground dance music visiting Southampton.

Chris @ Junk

The upcoming weeks and months at Bang Bang will featuring some of the best artists and DJs in underground dance music from: Radio 1 and 1xtra, Rinse FM, Black Butter, PMR, Eton Messy, Subsoul, Dirtybird, MTA, Hyperdub, Defected, Food Music, Digital Soundboy, Swamp 81, Method, Night Slugs, Lobster Boy, Sounds Of Sumo.
