High Tide Reveal August Boat Party with Dusky & Tom Budden

Fast rising duo Dusky will be headlining the final High Tide boat party of their summer season. Taking place on the August bank holiday Sunday (24th), the boat party will act as a showcase for Tom Budden’s record label ALiVE Recordings. Launched in 2008 and now 60 releases deep, the Southampton-based label will be celebrating their sixth birthday this August. Label head Tom Budden will be DJing alongside Dusky and Garry Bennetton (High Tide), while the lower deck will be hosted by Waved (Bournemouth).

We would never usually let anyone captain the High Tide ship, but when our very good friend Tom Budden from ALiVE Recordings popped the question how could we refuse!? Celebrating 6 years of releasing incredible music, with a back catalogue now spread over 60 releases, the Southampton based label sets sail with us for the first in a series of showcases for ALiVE across the UK. Joining the festivities at sea are High Tide debutants, DUSKY who continue to go stellar with a new studio album forthcoming on Will Saul’s imprint AUS and their very own label “17 Steps”. Down in the 2nd deck are Jose Bond and MJ Kenna alongside Bournemouth’s aptly named WAVED. This is another party we’ve been very much waiting for, enjoy. — High Tide

As is standard practise, the boat party will run from 3pm till 8:30pm and will be followed by an after-party at Orange Rooms (free to all boat party ticket holders). Details for the after-party will be released in due course.

Tickets for the boat party will be released soon, priced at £17 if you’re quick, £19 if you miss those, £21 if you’re a bit slower, and £23 if you’re snoozin.
