A self-taught DJ from Birmingham, Hannah immersed herself in garage sounds as she grew up, later delving into a wealth of sounds as she explored other genres. Her ambition and musical knowledge help her deliver diverse cross-genre sets and read the crowd flawlessly, making her one of the world’s most in demand DJs of late. Hannah’s style feeds into a recent movement towards a harder hitting style of house music, with her popular sets comprising of more bass laden tunes. In the past couple of years Miss Wants has soared into the upper echelons of the UK house scene with her choice selection and extensive touring. Frequent collaboration with her Birmingham based compatriot Chris Lornezo, mean she also has a number of popular releases to her name on Food Music, and Dirtybird Records.
The event is billed as the Soundclash Announcement Party. Whilst the first wave of acts has only recently been announced, the second phase of artist reveals for the new one-day festival is expected at the end of January. The announcement is therefore likely to coincide with the date of Hannah’s appearance in Southampton on the 24th, would it be too much to suppose that Miss Wants could possibly be getting in on the action this summer at the Southampton Soundclash itself?
Tickets for Hannah Wants (Soundclash Announcement Party) are now available from DBP via Fatsoma, with earlybird tickets priced at £8.
