Max Graef & Karma Kid Added to Junk Department Big Top

Junk Department just posted a glitchy, circus-themed teaser video (see below) promoting their Big Top event in May. Within it they revealed some extra details pertaining to both the main event and the official after-parties (there will be two of them). Max Graef and Karma Kid have been added to the bill (headlining the Future Garden and Concrete Music tents respectively), and one of the after-parties (set to take place in TRiPP) will feature Shonky, Gavin Herlihy, and Laura Jones.

As announced previously, the 5000 capacity event will take place inside a circus-style big top set in the grounds of Stoneham Park in May. It’ll run from 11am to 11pm and will be headlined by Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles, Dyed Soundorom, Laura Jones, and Detroit Swindle, and Luca Pilato. Local collective Future Garden and Portsmouth-based promoters Concrete Music will be running separate stages alongside the big top.

The full lineup for the Concrete Music tent is Karma Kid, George A.G., Alex James, Billy Oz, and Ben Stanton. Over in the Future Garden tent will be Max Graef, Chris Gee, Rami Ali, Jo Noon, Simon Bleakly b2b Rob Winsley, and of course the Future Garden DJs.

The first of the two after-parties (the second is yet to be announced) will also feature Junk Department residents Rhymos and Luca Pilato, alongside Shonky, Gavin Herlihy, and Laura Jones.
