Basement Jaxx to headline Southampton Soundclash Festival, September 2015

Following the undeniably successful first outing for Southampton Soundclash, festival organisers have now revealed the first headline act for part 2, taking place on Saturday 26th September 2015. Basement Jaxx will be headlining the main stage at the September 2015 edition of Southampton Soundclash.

Tickets for the festival are now available to purchase for everyone, priced at £25 while stocks last and then £30/£40 after. There is also a VIP tier available, priced at £50. Ticket pre-sale opened this afternoon at 3pm (available to those people who had registered via the official website) and the 500 Super Early Bird tickets available for £20 sold out after just 30 minutes. So, demand is likely to be very high.

The rest of the lineup for Soundclash in September will be released over the coming months. The next major announcement will be on the 28th June, then more acts will be revealed on the 26th July, and the final announcement will come on the 21st August. Note that this schedule is subject to change and there will likely be a few surprises along the way.

There will be five major stages at Soundclash Festival in September: The main stage, stages hosted by Switch and Warehouse (WH), a drum and bass arena hosted by On A Mission and Supercharged, and a stage hosted by Garage Nation. There will also be a stage in the VIP area.

Southampton Soundclash festival coincides with the 2015 Freshers’ period for both the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University. Festival organizers have confirmed that they are working with Solent SU to include wristbands for Soundclash in their Freshers’ Pack (AAA Pass 2015).
