2014 has been a monumental year for Dirty Box Promotions
(DBP), having opened their own club Switch
, this September to a great reception. With an extensive list of talent booked over its opening season, the Southampton based brand undeniably have much cause to celebrate, and have chosen to see the year out with Chase & Status
playing at the club for New Years’ Eve. With an extensive succession of hits to their name, Chase & Status have solidified their position as an international headline act in recent years thanks to extensive touring with a reputation for putting on some of the most energetic sets around.
Needless to say, the London based duo need little to no introduction, with three studio albums to their name, More Than A Lot, No More Idols, and Brand New Machine, Chase & Status, aka Will Kennard and Saul Milton are responsible for a string of dancefloor anthems, stretching from 2009′s End Credits, to Let You Go, Flashing Lights, and more recent hits like Lost & Not Found and International, they have consistently delivered the goods, collaborating with Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Major Lazer, Nile Rodgers, and many more.
The London based duo are also responsible for their own label MTA which has been responsible for nurturing a number of well known artists, including Ben Pearce, releasing his prolific hit ‘What I might do‘ back in 2012. The pair earned their most recent accolade last week as they were crowned champions of Red Bull’s Culture Clash at Earls Court, alongside teammates, Shy FX, and David ‘Ram-Jam’ Rodigan, as super-group, ‘Rebel Sound’.
They’ve toured the world, absolutely smashing it at festivals as far and wide as Download, Roskilde,Glastonbury, Reading and Global Gathering. Join them for an exhilirating night as they are joined onstage by bandmate MC Rage to cause some serious damage to the Funktion-One soundsystem!
