On Saturday 2nd August TRiPP will be bringing DJ EZ back to Southampton by way of a daytime garden party. Following the garden party, which runs from 2pm ’til 10 in the evening, there will be an after party at TRiPP itself. The after party will be headlined by Ceri with support from TRiPP/Junk Department residents Luca Pilato and Jody Hannan.

After how incredible last year’s Garden Party with DJ EZ was, when we were offered another exclusive date in August we jumped at the chance.

We’ll be bringing the same top production, supporting artists (with a couple of extras) and also we’re holding a massive after party with Ceri (Hot Creations) at TRiPP on London Road for everyone that wants to carry on the party (as per).

Please don’t leave it til the last minute to sort, it’s a strictly ticket-only event and we know for sure this one will sell out quite a bit in advance…

Louis Lawrence, TRiPP

Ceri is originally from Wales but is currently based in London where she has achieved a rapid rise up the ranks due to her prowess both on the decks and in the studio. She moved to London as a teenager and it wasn’t long before she began playing at one of London’s best known after-hours parties – Jaded. From there she secured a residency at Rhythmatic, playing alongside and warming up for some of the most respected names in the business. Parallel to her DJing, Ceri’s work in the studio has seen her go from strength to strength. In the last year or so she’s had releases with Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, seminal London party label Wiggle, plus Dilate, Suruba, 3am Recordings, Midnight Social, Click Therapy, and — most recently — Save You Records.

This won’t be Ceri’s first appearance at 55 London Road, she played at Junk a couple of times before the venue rebranded. In fact, eagle-eyed readers might have already recognised the TRiPP dancefloor from Alex P’s photo of Ceri above, taken last time she visited.

Entry to the after party will be £5 before 11pm with a daytime wristband, £7 before 12am, and more after.
