Andre Williams, better known as Shy FX has been releasing his own brand of Jungle and Drum and Bass since the early 90s, but is no stranger to the mainstream having delivered high profile remixes of chart-toppers from the likes of Plan B, Emile Sandé and DJ Fresh. Williams set up Digital Soundboy in 2005 alongside fellow DnB producer T Power. Having produced songs for Dizzee Rascal, Yasmin and Kano in the past, Shy has recently been working on a number of his own releases, collaborating with Liam Bailey, and Miss Dynamite, resulting in “Soon Come” and “Cloud 9” respectively.
The Bondax boys, Adam Kaye, and George Townsend, have rapidly secured a devoted following, thanks to their stylish production and laidback post-dubstep sound. The pair have been in over their heads the past year with a flurry of bookings, at clubs around the UK and beyond, pushing their unique brand of house that is both accessible and refined, gaining further support with every set. The duo are set to conquer this summer, with the release of their most radio friendly outing to date, “All I See”, along with making appearances at some of the UKs biggest Festivals, including Lovebox, Reading + Leeds, and Bestival. As if all that were not enough, Bondax are set to release “Bondax & Friends: The Mix Album” on September 8th 2014, featuring another brand new track*, alongside collaborations with Bo Saris, Speelburg and Ayah Marar.
This ‘Bondax presents’ show at Warehouse Southampton will be part of the duo’s official autumn UK DJ tour, to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Earlybird tickets for both Bondax and Digital Soundboy events at Warehouse Southampton will be released in August, available from DBP’s usual outlets.
* in addition to “All I See”, also due for release in September.
