Alan Fitzpatrick and Tom Budden to join Seth Troxler at Warehouse Southampton

The guys at High Tide and DBP have further beefed up the bill of their Seth Troxler warehouse party this September by announcing the addition of local techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick. Taking place on the 20th September, the warehouse show will serve as an after party for High Tide’s 300 capacity boat party with maverick House DJ extraordinaire Seth Troxler, which kicks off earlier in the day. After rocking the High Tide boat, the insatiable Troxler will be joined by Alan Fitzpatrick and others to continue the party on dry land at the larger capacity Mo Warehouse venue. Running from 10pm through ’til 4am, the event is being promoted by Warehouse Southampton, a brand maintained by DBP and High Tide that’s increasingly becoming known for booking some of the most sought-after names in dance music (Groove Armada, Hot Since 82, and Route 94 will all be headlining WH events this autumn).

Here’s what High Tide had to say:

Thought the Seth Troxler Warehouse Party couldn’t get any bigger? Fresh from playing to 20,000 people at Kappa festival in Torino, we’re extremely lucky to have secured techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick for this exclusive Southampton date. This is our biggest event for 2014, so don’t miss out! Techno!

Since he started DJing in 2008, Fitzpatrick – a Southampton local – has built up a solid reputation for delivering beats that will get the dancefloor moving. He’s already enjoyed success abroad this year, playing at Awakenings Festival and Kappa Festival, and you can be sure he’ll give the bass bins of Warehouse Southampton’s Funktion-One soundsystem a heavy workout when he plays in front of a home crowd this September. Alongside DJing, Fitzpatrick has had a string of respected releases for labels such as Drumcode and 8 Sided Dice Recordings – The Tetra EP, released earlier this year, finds Fitzpatrick on top form.

High Tide have also confirmed that Tom Budden, head honcho at Southampton label ALiVE Recordings, will be joining the line up, bringing a shed load of driving tech house rhythms and plenty of thumping basslines.  Support will also be provided by High Tide and Warehouse residents Steve Knight, Gary Bennetton, Boulé and Jamie Ings.

Tickets (£10 early birds) will be made available online soon, so keep an eye on the Warehouse Southampton Facebook page for updates.
