Junk Department are to become a regular fixture at newly christened TRiPP, they’ll be showcasing underground electronic music from across the globe, in much the same way that they have been doing so over the last couple of years at festivals, warehouse parties, and international night clubs. This edition will be a One Records showcase featuring Adam Shelton and Subb-an. Support will come from Junk Dept. residents Rhymos and Luca Pilato and  HoxtonFM’s Pablo Godofredo.

Junk Department takes over TRiPP on the 22nd Feb as we welcome an outstanding young imprint at the forefront of the modern House sound One Records. Subb-an and Adam Shelton’s label has seen its speedy success take little more than 3 years to arrive, unsurprisingly due to the fact that each and every release the label has put out thus far has contained that ever deadly mixture of underground authenticity. The pair will perform an extended back 2 back set for us taking us on a journey through their house vision.

Having steered the One Records label to its success from its very inception, Adam Shelton is a man with a clear expertise in what works on the dance floor, proving exactly why his weight as a DJ and producer is of equally towering measure. Having graced some of Europe’s finest from 20:20 Vision, Air London and of course One Records, Adam’s raw and energetic style has earned him earn a spot of one of the most exciting underground figures in the UK.

Equally, Shelton’s partner in crime is man who should come as no confusion to those with even the vaguest curiosity for the UK’s bourgeoning underground scene. Now an inescapable presence the world over, Subb-an’s leadership of the underground evolution has now lasted the best part of a decade thanks to releases on some of the most influential labels to emerge during that very same time. Leftroom, Culprit, 20:20 Vision, Crosstown Rebels and Visionquest to name but a few, Subb-an boasts credentials quite like no other.

Here’s a recent back-to-back Boiler Room set from the pair:
