Some words from independent.co.uk and orangerooms.co.uk.

For their final bank holiday summer boat party of 2013, High Tide have secured San Francisco producer/DJ Justin Martin. Justin Martin is a long-standing member and co-creator of the Dirtybird Records label, managed by Claude Von Stroke. The Dirtybirds have been notorious in the last decade for putting on their annual party in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, which always delivers a vibrant and fun social setting for revelers to come and ‘kick back with some good BBQ food and a place to get down to some big booty bass’. Since Justin’s first release, Sad Piano on the Buzzin’ Fly label in 2003, he has always employed a very deep house foundation to his tracks, whilst incorporating progressively soulful and hypnotic melodies.

Rocking the Orange Rooms will be Jonny Cade. Jonny Cade is one of a number of young producers whose mature approach to music, DJing and production belies his relatively tender years. From his residency at Leeds’ Flux to productions on the likes of 2020:Vision, MoodMusic, Kolour Recordings, Leftroom and Saints and Sonnets, Jonny has fast created a name for himself as a musician to watch out for. Without a doubt, his 16 years of studying drums and percussion, has also largely influenced his productions with a unique dexterity for rhythm. Support will come from Spiteri, Dan Reid, and High Tide residents.

The adjoining door between Orange Rooms and Prohibition (Formerly POP) will be open to all and through it will be the Muddywellies gang including Pelo Rizardo, Fraser Thomas, Josh Thomas,  and guests. Muddywellies will also be running the lower deck on the boat.
