We are really excited to welcome for the first time LORD TOOTH SOUND SYSTEM. Lord Tooth is an instigator on the Hampshire Dub scene. They are a multi-instrumental and production trio that compose and perform original Dub & Reggae influenced material with a modern and contemporary twist. Their inspiration comes from original dubplates that emerged from Jamaica in the early 1970’s. Made up of original producer and writer Toby Walton, bassist and vocalist Lyra Blackwa, and instrumentalist Luxembourg. Lord Tooth creates a never seen before live Dub show.
Their sound, consists of rootsy beats, bass guitar, flute, melodica and vocals. Lord Tooth is currently writing and producing a follow up to 2013 release The Younger Dub (Boom One Records), you can find them at One Love Festival this Summer.
We welcome back EMILIYAH & THE MIGHTY Z ALL STARS (who are promoting their new record ‘stay’).
Emilia ‘Emiliyah’ Witkiewicz – Singing from her heart always, Emiliyah has already worked with names like Janet Kay, Vivian Jones, Winston Reedy, Kenny Knots and Starky Banton… to name but a few.
The band and its individual members have worked with a whole host of big Reggae names, both in the studio and in live shows. The list includes many legendary names, including The Wailers, Big Youth, Vivian Jones, Susan Cadogan and last year including an appearance with the legendary Aba Shanti I Sound System.
STEPTONE SOUND SYSTEM have joined forces REVERENCE SOUND SYSTEM (Southampton’s newest custom reggae sound system with a no holds barred mentality to obtaining a quality bass sound).

DISORDA who is a legend from all over UK and his Dub Chronicles show gets world wide attention. He is on the main stage at this years Boom Bap Festival (and if ur into ur tunes take a peek at the DISORDA’s online store)
HACK IT DUBS & DUBL-U from Headsessions Sound System. Bringing you a fresh selection of fine Reggae and Dub music in Southampton. There’s always a top quality show from great artist playing at the only regular reggae night in Town!

REV, EASY NOW & MISS RACH round of your selectors and you would have seen this lot play roots and culture style next to some of the best in the business including Mad Professor, Lee Perry, Macka B, Gentlemans Dub Club and many more.
Throw in all the love and effort the Hobbit staff give this annual event (tons of sand don’t shift itself!) with Paddling pools, a slushie bar, Ice Creams, Caribbean food and special for this year an enlarged cider bar always makes a great event.
DO REMEMBER this is an over 18s event. We always sell out of wristband tickets so do get them from the Hobbit before the event or come early to avoid queues. As in previous years tickets will be available on the day but you may have to queue as the event is so popular. Priority re entry is given to those with tickets.
Tickets will be available from 1st July.
