>> ABOUT THIS EVENT
We’re delighted to have secured the awesome Attik club (formerly Roxx) in the heart of Bedford Place, Southampton for our very special opening party. Equipped with a Funktion One sound system, the club has an underground vibe perfect for the Emotive sound – deep house with soul.
The party will also double as a reunion night for all those who came to the original – and dare we say legendary parties – which featured the likes of Kerri Chandler, DJ Spen and Norman Jay.
We’ve also lined up a very special guest DJ, none other than the legendary TERRY FARLEY! Terry was one of the pioneers of the early UK club scene with residencies at clubs such as Shoom, Spectrum and Limelight, alongside the likes of Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, Andrew Weatherall and Danny Rampling. He subsequently went on to team up with Pete Heller to form the renowned DJ and production duo of Farley & Heller, aka Roach Motel and Fire Island. He also founded the Junior Boy’s Own label, responsible for some of the biggest house tracks in history, from artists including Chemical Brothers, Underworld and X-Press 2.
