Southampton Club Café Parfait celebrates its fourth birthday this May Bank Holiday weekend

This weekend marks the fourth birthday of Southampton’s Café Parfait, the beloved home to the Chocolate Factory club night. Each night from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th, the Above Bar street club will offer its patrons free entry and a wealth of entertainment. Over the course of the weekend the venue will resemble a carnival with stilt walkers, clowns, martini glass dancers and aerial hoop artists bringing the club to life.

Many will know Café Parfait as home to the weekly Thursday student night, The Chocolate Factory. Kitted out with Wonka themed decor and complete with its own chocolate fountain, The Chocolate Factory has become a staple in Southampton’s weekly offering of nights out.

Café Parfait has distinguished itself from other venues by injecting a real sense of showmanship into its club nights, with resident live musicians, frequent circus acts and their own magician. This bank holdiay weekend the venue will be celebrating its fourth birthday with three special nights to mark the occasion.

The Friday night, Delicieux will give all clubbers the opportunity to get their hands on their own Café Parfait loyalty card that will offer discounts on drinks and further benefits in the future. Le Cirque Musical on Saturday promises to be a visual feast, with all the spectacular trappings of the circus. On Sunday night the club will be open until 6am, for the Bank Holiday. Entry is free each night, and drinks are available from 99p, with two for one deals available on cocktails too.

Unsurprisingly the May Bank Holiday is a busy weekend, with Cafe Parfait open each night, whilst elsewhere there are a range of afterparties to coincide with the launch of Common People
