Mutiny in the Park is set to take place on the 19th July 2014 at Victoria Park, central Portsmouth. It will run from midday till midnight at the park and then move to three after-party venues across the city. The event is to be hosted by Club MTV and has support from the likes of Love Southsea, Eskimo11, The Astoria, and Love Amplified.

Drum and bass duo Sigma recently topped the UK chart with “Nobody to Love“, a rework of Kanye West’s “Bound 2”. Originally created purely for their DJ set, “Nobody To Love” took on a life of its own after other DJs heard it out on the circuit. The track won support from the likes of Annie Mac, MistaJam, Rob da Bank, DJ Friction, and others, cementing it as impressive follow-up to their previous success “Rudeboy“. In 2010 Sigma collaborated with fellow headliner DJ Fresh  on “Lassitude“.

Los Angeles resident Le Youth has also been added to the bill. His tracks “C O O L” and “Dance With Me” made waves in the UK charts last summer, the former (released by Ultra/Sony) breaking into the top 10 in August. The young producer/DJ has also released official remixes for Tensnake, Disclosure, Chromeo, and (just this week) Katy Perry.

Kristian Nairn, an Irish actor from Belfast, is undoubtedly best known for his portrayal of the character Hodor on the TV series Game of Thrones. However, Nairn is aslo successful DJ, having performed alongside acts such as the Scissor Sisters and worked as far afield as South Africa and Australia.

Finally, rounding off an eclectic mix of additions, London duo Tough Love will be joining the lineup. The fast rising production and DJ duo started out in 2012 but already have a serious catalogue of releases under their belts, with productions on Toolroom (UK), OFF (Berlin), Nurvous (NYC), and their own Get Twisted imprint, and remixes for artists including Jaguar Skills, Doorly, Le Youth, Amine Edge & Dance, and many more.

Here’s the current Mutiny in the Park lineup poster, there are still plenty acts and partners yet to be revealed:
